Road Closures


In Glendale

  • 95th Ave from Maryland Ave to Coyotes Blvd. CLOSED to one lane North-bound on Saturday 1/26, Sunday 1/27, and Thursday 1/31 thru Monday 2/04 from 6am-2pm.
  • Maryland Ave from 95th Ave to the entrance of Lot G at Jobing.com Arena CLOSED Saturday 1/26, Sunday 1/27 and Thursday 1/31 thru Monday 2/04 until noon.
  • 95th Ave from Bethany Home Rd to Maryland Ave CLOSED from Tuesday 1/22 at 9am thru Monday 2/04 until noon.
  • Bethany Home Rd between 95th Ave and 91st Ave RESTRICTED TO ONE LANE from Sunday 1/27 thru Monday 2/04 at 9am. Non-Super Bowl related traffic is advised to avoid Bethany Home Road from Monday 1/27 thru Sunday 2/03.



In Phoenix

  • Monroe St. from Central Ave to 3rd St. CLOSED from Sunday 1/27 thru Sunday 2/03.
  • 1st St from Adams to Van Buren RESTRICED/CLOSED from Sunday 1/27 thru Sunday 2/03.
  • Adams St between 1st St and 2nd St RESTRICED/CLOSED from Sunday 1/27 thru Sunday 2/03.
  • 2nd St from North of Monroe St to South of Adams St CLOSED from Sunday 1/27 thru Sunday 2/03.
  • Permitted access to the Hyatt and Wyndham Hotels will be allowed by going north on 1st St to Adams St.



Ongoing Construction Projects During SBXLII

The following projects will not impact traffic with restricted lanes or closures, but will slightly change the configuration and speed limits of the roadways.

Loop 101 HOV Project - Loop 202 interchange (Red Mountain Freeway) to Princess Drive

  • Roadway shifted toward the shoulder, same amount of open lanes (3) in each direction, primary work zone is behind temporary concrete barrier within the median, speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

State Route 51 HOV Project - Shea Boulevard to Tatum Boulevard (Loop 101)

  • Roadway shifted toward the shoulder, same amount of open lanes (3) in each direction, primary work zone is behind temporary concrete barrier within the median, speed limits have been reduced to 55 MPH and 45 MPH in some locations.

Interstate 17 interchange projects (Jomax, Dixileta and Carefree Highway)

  • Roadway shifted in places, same amount of open lanes (2) in each direction, primary work zone is on bridge structures located in the median and shoulder areas, speed limits have been reduced to 55 MPH and 45 MPH in some locations.
