Arizona Snowbowl - Flagstaff
Atop Mt. Humphreys, Arizona's highest peak is a year-round attraction. In the summer, the skyride sweeps visitors up to an 11,500-foot scenic view. In winter, the resort's 2,300-foot vertical drop and 33 trails of varied difficulty provide a powdery playground for skiers and snowboarders.

Bird Watching - Southeastern Arizona
Dedicated bird watchers have targeted Southeastern Arizona for some of the best bird watching expeditions. One of the main reasons why so many species of birds congregate here is the presence of "sky islands," heavily forested mountains rising abruptly from the desert floor. Two of the best know bird watching sites are Madera Canyon in the Santa Rita Mountains south of Tucson (230 species of birds have been sighted there) and Ramsey Canyon Nature Conservancy in the Huachuca Mountains near Sierra Vista (the Hummingbird capital of the United States).

Queen Mine Tours - Bisbee
More than 50,000 people a year don yellow slickers, hard hats, and battery-powered lamps to enter the mine for a chance to experience life as a miner from 1877 to 1975. During that time, the mine produced more than eight billion pounds of copper. In addition, substantial quantities of gold, silver, lead, and zinc were extracted from the ore, making the Queen one of the richest mines in Arizona.
